Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

Dr. Paige is an Out-of-Network Provider.

What does this mean?

That means we do not bill your insurance.

A Superbill may be requested which we will then provide in order for you to submit for reimbursement per your insurance’s out-of-network benefits. If you are not sure what these are, we are happy to help in the process of figuring this out. Please refer to your insurance company’s FAQ page for helpful resources on how to go about this method.

Why did we choose this model?

We are not an in-network clinic as we feel that the current healthcare system places too many restrictions and limitations to truly provide the best care for long-term benefit. As a cash practice, we can provide the best quality care where YOU get to be an active contributor to your plan of care. We provide personalized one-on-one care that is individualized to your specific needs within your own home.

Additionally, as Colorado (and many other states) are direct access (meaning you do not need a physician referral for PT), many insurance companies still require a referral. In most cases, seeing the physician first is an unnecessary step that not only delays care, but increases the cost. The cost is further amplified by rising costs due to poor insurance reimbursement. If you have a high deductible plan, you may end up paying $300+ for an eval and $200 for follow ups. Or if you have a copay, you’re probably looking at $60 three times a week! Versus this model allows us to decrease the frequency you need to come in, thereby decreasing both the time and financial commitments.

By choosing Dr. Paige Physical Therapy, you are choosing to invest in yourself. And you will actually save time & money overall while getting the care you need for your specific case. No run around, no hassle, no hidden fees, no loopholes.

What are my payment options?

Payments may be made by cash or credit/debit card.  If applicable, you may also use your Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account dollars on physical therapy.

Are their restrictions on where Dr. Paige will travel?

Yes, at this point in time Dr. Paige is traveling up to 10 miles for visits. If you are not sure if you are within this radius please reach out!

If you are outside this radius, we may be able to still see you for an additional travel fee.

do you have a REferral program?

If they complete 5 sessions (including initial exam) you will be put into a drawing for a $100 lululemon e-gift card!
